Online therapy and counselling
How I work
I believe therapy can be applied as a useful tool for exploration of the self in an engaging, confidential, and non-judgemental platform.
I am empathic and understanding of the difficulties we all face daily, and I am fully committed to enhancing your well-being.
My approach is generally from an eclectic or integrated standpoint, stemming from a pure Person-Centred core initially, whilst implementing modalities such as CBT/REBT, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis or Psychodynamic, as necessary.
About me
My background is 15+ years in healthcare, specifically working in mental health and Dementia. I have a strong passion of working with people living with Dementia, and their families and can provide a specific level of support in this regard.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Griffith College in Dublin, a Higher National Diploma in Social Care Practice.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP Registered) and work to the standards set out in the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling.
I hold an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate. Client information is protected following the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidelines.
If you would like to know more or book an appoinment please send me a message.
