Silvina | Integrative Counsellor
Introduction
Hello, I’m Silvina, a bilingual integrative counsellor specialising in supporting women and adults healing from domestic abuse and the trauma, anxiety, and self‑doubt that often follow. I understand how overwhelming life can feel when you’ve been carrying fear, confusion, or the impact of someone else’s control for far too long. You may be exhausted from holding everything together, unsure of who to trust, or struggling to reconnect with the person you once were. You don’t have to navigate this alone.I offer a calm, steady, non‑judgmental space where you can begin to breathe again. A space where your feelings are welcomed, your story is honoured, and your pace is respected. Together, we gently explore what you’ve been through, how it has shaped you, and what you need now to feel safer, stronger, and more grounded in yourself.
My integrative approach draws on person‑centred and psychodynamic theories, allowing us to work with both your present‑day experiences and the deeper emotional patterns shaped by past relationships. This combination helps you understand your reactions, rebuild trust in your inner voice, and slowly release beliefs that no longer serve you. My aim is to support you in reconnecting with your sense of identity, confidence, and inner steadiness.
I have extensive experience working with women who have survived domestic, psychological, and financial abuse, as well as those navigating identity loss after migration. I understand the courage it takes to reach out, especially when you’ve been made to feel small, unheard, or unsure of yourself. In our work together, you are met with compassion, clarity, and a therapeutic relationship built on safety and respect.
Therapy is not about rushing your healing — it’s about creating a space where you can finally exhale, understand your emotions, and begin to reclaim the parts of you that were pushed into silence. You deserve support that sees you, believes you, and walks alongside you as you rebuild your life.
If you feel ready to take that first step, I’m here to support you.
Online therapy
I also offer online therapy for those who prefer the comfort and privacy of their own space. Many clients find that meeting online helps them feel safer and more at ease, especially when working through the impact of domestic abuse, trauma, or anxiety. Sessions are held through WhatsApp or Microsoft Teams, both secure and easy to use. Whether you’re at home, at work, or simply need the flexibility that online support offers, our sessions remain just as warm, grounded, and focused on your healing.Alongside online sessions, I offer face‑to‑face therapy from my quiet, welcoming rooms in Letchworth Garden City and Stevenage. Many clients appreciate having the choice between in‑person and online support, depending on what feels safest and most comfortable each week. Both locations offer a calm, private space where you can arrive as you are, take a breath, and focus fully on your healing.

Specialisations and Expertises
My work centres on supporting women and adults healing from domestic abuse and the trauma, anxiety, and self‑doubt that often linger long after the relationship has ended. I have extensive experience with psychological, emotional, and financial abuse, as well as the deep confusion and loss of self that can follow coercive control. Many of the people I work with arrive feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to trust themselves again. In our sessions, we move gently and at your pace, using an integrative approach that helps you understand your emotions, rebuild your sense of safety, and reconnect with the parts of you that have been silenced or pushed aside. While every journey is unique, many clients begin to notice meaningful shifts within 6–12 sessions, with some choosing longer‑term work to explore deeper patterns and create lasting, grounded change.
