My name is Stephen, I am a experienced and fully qualified clinical hypnotherapist accredited with the General Hypnotherapy Register. Hypnotherapy has been a life long passion and I feel very privileged to be working in this area. It is also highly rewarding to be helping people overcome limiting issues and problems that prevent them from moving forward and living a more positive and liberating life.

I can assist you in coping with the problems and challenges life brings, so you can reach your full potential and overcome your difficulties. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed or want to work on something specific, I am trained and skilled to help with issues such as, anxiety, depression, anger, loss, relationship problems, stress, worry, panic, phobia’s, OCD, low self-esteem, loneliness, or sleep problems. In therapy, you will be treated with compassion, warmth, acceptance, and respect.

There is no single point in life when people turn towards counselling, but it is often when confronted by some sense of not being able to move forward, or change. Significant events such as bereavement and loss, ill health, relationship difficulties, questioning who one is or feeling unable to get over past events are common reasons for seeking a counsellor. Depression and anxiety are often present and can be difficult to work through alone.

I have been working as a psychotherapist since 2009 both in private practice and as an affiliate CBT Therapist with the NHS as well as several Employee Assistance Programmes. I am also an accredited provider for CIGNA Insurance.
