Camyla | Psychotherapist and Arts Counsellor
Introduction
--- ONLINE THERAPY ONLY ---
Hello and welcome—I’m Camyla, and I’m really glad you’ve found your way here.
I offer online therapy that creates space to slow things down, explore what feels stuck, and make sense of what is shaping how you think, feel, and relate. Together, we look at what might be sitting underneath these experiences, helping you reconnect with your values, sense of meaning, and what feels most important in your life and relationships.
How I Work
If you want to create a life that feels more like your own, understand yourself more deeply, or build more fulfilling relationships, individual therapy can support you in getting there.
Therapy offers a space to slow things down and make sense of what is happening beneath the surface, especially when things feel stuck or overwhelming. Over time, this can support meaningful and lasting change, helping you reconnect with what matters to you and what brings a sense of meaning to your life.
I work as a pluralistic therapist, drawing on different approaches and shaping the work with you rather than following one fixed method. Together, we explore what you would like to be different in your life, and what may be getting in the way of living in a way that feels more aligned with what is important to you.
We gently slow things down to understand what sits underneath your experiences, including the ways you relate to yourself and others. My aim is to offer a steady space where you feel heard, and where new ways of responding can begin to emerge.
About Me
I am drawn to work around relationships and intimacy, and how these shape the way we experience ourselves and others. I believe change becomes possible through awareness, curiosity, and a willingness to engage differently with familiar patterns.
Clients often describe me as warm and grounded, as well as clear and appropriately challenging when needed.
Alongside my work in psychotherapy, my background in the arts, including therapeutic arts and fashion, informs how I understand people and relationships—particularly around expression, embodiment, and meaning beyond words.
My upbringing in Eastern Europe also shapes how I sit with people in the therapy room. It has given me a lived understanding of culture, identity, migration, and belonging, and how these can quietly shape how we relate to ourselves and others. Having lived in the UK for the past 20 years and working with clients globally, I bring a culturally attuned perspective to the work.
Online therapy
I work exclusively online. Sessions take place via video call, offering a private and accessible space to explore your relationship from wherever you are.
They are held on secure platforms such as Proton Meet and Doxy.me, and allow for the same depth of therapeutic work as in-person sessions, with added flexibility and convenience.

I offer therapy in
Specialisations
I work with a range of relational and emotional difficulties, always focusing on how you experience yourself and others, and what may be shaping the way you relate.
In relationship and intimacy difficulties, we explore how closeness, trust, and emotional connection are experienced, and what may be getting in the way of feeling connected.
With anxiety and depression, we make space to understand what these experiences are communicating, and how to relate to them with more awareness and steadiness.
In work around confidence and self-esteem, we look at how your sense of self has been shaped over time, and what might support a more grounded and compassionate relationship with yourself.
During periods of loss and transition, we create space for grief, uncertainty, and change, and explore how to move through these experiences in a way that feels supported and meaningful.
Alongside this, we explore what brings a sense of meaning and direction to your life, and how you might begin to move more in line with what feels important to you.
