Introduction
Do you think you are either "not enough" or "too much" for the people around you. Perhaps you feel guilty and think "it's all your fault" - that there's something wrong with you. Maybe you're experiencing anxiety and stress as you try to please people.
I specialise in helping people move forward, set goals, challenge themselves and become more self-aware of who they are. We'll go at your pace and focus on what feels most meaningful for your goals and growth.
Areas I can help with include -
Anxiety: My clients often have anxiety as the core issue and are struggling to manage or cope with this on their own. This includes social anxiety and generalised anxiety disorder. Some clients have anxiety from using dating apps, starting fresh with someone new or ending something (e.g. relationship, job, moving etc..) and the anxiety that comes with it.
Depression: We all have times when our mood is low, and we're feeling sad or miserable about life. Usually, these feelings pass in due course. But if the feelings are interfering with your life and don't go away after a couple of weeks, or if they come back repeatedly for a few days at a time, it could be a sign that you're experiencing depression.
Feeling lost: Can be caused by several factors, such as a lack of purpose, fulfilment, or direction. Right now, it may seem like life has no meaning. The important thing to tell yourself is that you need to go easy on yourself instead of blaming yourself for feeling lost.
Feeling lost - like life has no purpose or meaning. This could be due to:
-
Parenting a special needs child or child with complex mental health needs
illness or the menopause -
Handling difficult situations such as a job or relationship loss
-
Loss (death or loss of loved one from breakup or job)
-
Emotional factors like anxiety, depression
-
Feeling lost can make you question everything such as your relationships, careers and friendships.
You may even start second-guessing yourself and the things in which you’ve believed. This feeling eventually trickles down to areas, such as friendships, relationships, career paths.
Relationship Counselling for individuals:
Do you struggle to form or maintain relationships with others? Maybe you're afraid to try again as you do not want to get hurt?
My clients have said it feels like when a relationship ended for them it was ‘their fault ‘or ‘they were too much.’
It is hard trying to get over a breakup or to start a new relationship, whether it is commitment issues, previous unpleasant experience or trauma or never been in a relationship.
Some clients have anxiety from using dating apps, starting fresh with someone new or ending something (e.g. relationship, job, moving etc..) and the anxiety that comes with it.

Online therapy
Online video therapy sessions are virtual counseling sessions conducted via secure video nferencing platforms, allowing clients and therapists to meet remotely;
-
This enables scheduling sessions to fit work, family, or other commitments, often outside of traditional office hours.
-
Sessions take place in a familiar, comfortable environment, such as one's own home, which can make it easier to open up.
-
Eliminates distance barriers, allowing access to therapists regardless of location
Online counseling offers benefits like increased accessibility, providing mental health support to those in remote areas or with mobility issues, and flexibility, allowing sessions to fit around busy schedules. It also promotes comfort and privacy by enabling people to access help from their own homes, reducing travel time and associated costs.
I use Microsoft teams or google meet for all my online work, once a session is booked in a link will be sent to access the session.
