Online Counselling Wrexham
I have an MSc in counselling and I offer online therapy for individual adults. I work in a calm, grounded, and warm way, adapting my level of structure and support to suit each person’s needs. Some people benefit from a more reflective space, while others prefer practical tools and strategies and I’m comfortable working anywhere along that spectrum.
I support adults dealing with anxiety, stress and burnout, confidence challenges, work-related difficulties, life transitions, and the impact of trauma. I’m experienced in working with trauma responses such as emotional overwhelm, avoidance, and patterns that can show up after difficult experiences. My aim is to help clients feel more stable in the present, and more able to respond rather than react to life’s pressures.
I value counselling because it can help people bring about change and a renewed sense of agency in their lives. Together we can explore what’s happening for you, what you need right now, and what might help you feel more capable, clear, and connected to yourself.
Sessions are held online, and I offer a safe, confidential space to talk openly without judgement. If you’re unsure whether counselling is right for you, you’re welcome to reach out for a free introductory call to meet first and ask any questions before booking.
Online therapy
I use Google Meet for online counselling sessions. I send you an invite and you click the link, allowing the app to acess the mic and camera on your device. No download should be required. As long as you have privacy and a stable wi-fi connection, then online therapy can be just as effective as in-person, whilst offering greater convenience and accessibility.
Online Therapy has taken off since the pandemic and many people are now discovering the sheer flexibility of seeing their therapist online. As long as you have a private space to sit during sessions, you can fit your therapy in around work and family/caring commitments, taking your call from the office or from the comfort of your own home.
Clients have reported that receiving counselling online has helped them to feel less anxious about therapy, knowing they are sitting in the comfort of their own safe space at home. They've described finding it easier to tackle emotional subjects and to process difficult feelings online.
Online therapy also provides a convenient and accessible solution for individuals with additional needs. Attending sessions from the comfort of your own home eliminates concerns about the accessibility of a therapist’s office, transportation challenges, or finding nearby parking. For those struggling with anxiety or panic attacks, online therapy can feel more comfortable and secure, allowing you to engage in sessions from your own safe space.
Additionally, if you frequently travel for work, online sessions provide continuity in your therapy journey, so you won’t need to pause your progress whenever you’re away from home.
