Valentina | Integrative Therapist

Introduction

A space to be heard, understood and supported
Seeking therapy can feel like a big step. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, navigating loss, questioning relationships, or simply carrying more than feels manageable on your own. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to face it alone.

I work from a humanistic and relational perspective, which means I see therapy as a collaborative process rooted in authenticity, empathy and trust. I believe that meaningful change happens within a safe and genuine therapeutic relationship — one where you feel heard, respected and accepted as you are. My aim is to create a space where you can speak freely, without judgement or pressure to be anything other than yourself.

At the heart of my work is the belief that you are the expert in your own life. You already hold inner resources and strengths, even if they feel distant right now. Together, we can gently explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy with me is not about fixing you — it’s about understanding you.

Working relationally
As a relational therapist, I pay attention not only to what you bring, but also to what unfolds between us. Our relationship can offer valuable insight into patterns you may experience in other areas of your life. By noticing and reflecting on these dynamics safely and thoughtfully, therapy can become a place for new experiences — where different ways of relating, expressing needs, and setting boundaries can emerge.

A feminist lens
Alongside this, I work with a feminist lens, recognising that our struggles do not exist in a vacuum. Social, cultural and systemic forces — such as gender expectations, power dynamics, race, class, sexuality, disability, and other aspects of identity — shape how we see ourselves and how we are treated by others.
This perspective allows us to explore not only your personal story, but also the wider contexts that may have impacted your confidence, relationships, sense of worth or voice. Therapy can be a space to untangle what truly belongs to you from what has been imposed or internalised. It can also be a place to reclaim agency, choice and self-trust.

What you can expect
Our sessions will be thoughtful, compassionate and grounded. I will listen carefully, reflect honestly, and engage with you in a way that feels human rather than clinical. At times I may gently challenge you, always with care and intention, if it feels supportive to your growth.
Above all, I am committed to offering a space where you can:
Feel deeply heard
Explore difficult emotions safely
Make sense of patterns and experiences
Strengthen your sense of self
Move towards relationships and choices that feel more aligned with who you are

Therapy is a unique and personal process. If you are looking for a therapist who values collaboration, depth, and awareness of the wider social world — while holding you at the centre — I would be glad to hear from you.

Reaching out can feel daunting, but it can also be the beginning of something transformative.

Online therapy

I offer online therapy via Google Meet, providing a secure and convenient way to access support from wherever you feel most comfortable. Online sessions allow you to engage in therapy from your own space, without the need to travel, while maintaining the same depth, confidentiality and relational focus as in-person work. All you need is a private space, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone.
