Katie | psychotherapist
Psychotherapy Wallasey
Hi I'm Katie. I’m an experienced integrative psychotherapist, who works with adults and young people. I specialise in working with trauma and anxiety, along with extensive experience of working with clients with ADHD.
I offer one to one therapy sessions from my therapy room on the Wirral , as well as providing online and telephone sessions, dependent on my clients needs . My work focuses on increasing emotional regulation, addressing trauma-related and anxiety based symptoms.
I use a mixture of different counselling modalities depending on your needs and this is something we will agree at together on our initial assessment. If you feel you require a certain modality then please let me know.
For my clients also on their ADHD journey , I can also offer practical strategies for managing symptoms and guide you in building self-understanding and confidence.
I work with clients on a short term or long term basis, dependant on your preference. Short term therapy usually ranges from around 6 – 12 sessions and my practice is also open to adhoc sessions , as I can appreciate how busy our lives can get.
I offer a free 15 minute consulation online or via telephone , allowing an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what you are looking for and see if we are a good fit
If you would like to know more or book an appointment, please send me a message via the send a message - button.
Online therapy
I offer a warm and friendly space for you to explore your concerns either in my wirral based therapy room or online via zoom. Currently I am available for daytime, evening and weekend appointments .
I have extensive experience in working with clients with anxiety, depression, low mood, trauma, ADHD and Autism.
I am a member of the BACP and I work within their ethical standards and continue to work within their framework and code of ethics. I have regular monthly supervision and continue to attend up to date training to enhance my counselling toolkit.
