Robyn | Counsellor & Psychotherapist

(Online) Counselling & Psychotherapy Ramsgate

You might feel overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or like you don’t quite fit, even when things look “fine” on the outside. You may feel anxious, unmotivated, or unsure of who you are and what you need - and long to feel calmer, clearer and more at home in yourself.

I work with neurodivergent and creative women, and those who identify as female, who feel deeply, process differently and often struggle with anxiety, overwhelm, low self-esteem, perfectionism or a sense of being a “square peg in a round hole”.

As a counsellor, psychotherapist and certified life coach, I offer a supportive, reflective space to help you reconnect with yourself, develop self-acceptance and feel more grounded and resourced in your day-to-day life.

My work is rooted in nervous-system awareness and rhythm. Sessions move at a pace that respects your capacity, helping you gently reconnect with your emotional world, creativity and inner voice. This isn’t about fixing you - it’s about understanding yourself more deeply and learning to live in a way that honours who you are.

I am neurodivergent myself and have worked with many neurodivergent adults and children. Whether you are diagnosed, self-identifying or simply resonate with this way of working, you are welcome here.

I only offer sessions online.

Online therapy

I offer therapy sessions online only, via Zoom. Sessions take place in a private, confidential space and are held in the same way as in-person therapy, with time and care given to creating a calm and supportive environment.

Online therapy can be a flexible and accessible way to work, especially if you feel more comfortable in your own space. You’ll need a stable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone and a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted.

I’m happy to support you in settling into online sessions and we can take time to make sure the setup feels comfortable and manageable for you.

Specialisations and Expertises

I specialise in working with neurodivergent and creative women, and those who identify as female, who feel deeply and process the world differently. Much of my work involves anxiety, burnout, trauma, attachment patterns, emotional regulation, self-esteem and identity.

I often work with people who have spent years masking, people-pleasing or pushing through and are now seeking a slower, more compassionate way of understanding themselves. Sessions are paced carefully, with attention to nervous-system regulation and capacity.

Therapy may be short or longer term, depending on your needs and we regularly review pace and focus together.

Most common issues I support people with:

1. Anxiety, overwhelm and nervous-system dysregulation
(including chronic stress, burnout, feeling on edge, shutdown or overload)

2. Trauma and its ongoing effects (developmental trauma, relational trauma, childhood experiences that still shape the present)

3. Identity, self-esteem and not feeling “at home” in the world (including feeling different, masking, perfectionism, self-doubt, insecurity)

4. Neurodivergence and emotional processing differences (diagnosed, self-identified or exploring - including the impact of late recognition)

5. Relationships and relational patterns (family dynamics, attachment wounds, people-pleasing, boundaries, feeling responsible for others)
