Hi, I’m Aliyyah, a compassionate and culturally sensitive therapist dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and self-discovery.

I have experience working with diverse clients, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem issues, and identity exploration, including culture, sexuality, and religion.

My integrative approach combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, and Existential therapies to create a space that is tailored to your unique needs.

If you’ve been carrying the weight of being the strong one, doubting yourself, or struggling with imposter syndrome, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to pretend here.


Together, we’ll explore what’s underneath the mask. Your story, your strengths, your struggles — all of it is welcome.

Online therapy

I offer online therapy sessions, providing the same level of support, connection, and confidentiality as in-person sessions—all from the comfort of your own space. Sessions are conducted via Microsoft Teams, making therapy accessible and flexible to fit your schedule.

 

To help you decide if online therapy is right for you, I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation where we can discuss your needs and how I can support you.

Qualifications and registrations

I am a qualified counsellor with a background in Health and Social Care. My experience includes working as a mental health support worker in the NHS, where I have supported individuals facing a range of mental health challenges. I have also worked within the education sector, providing support to children and young people in school settings

Anxiety & Stress—I help clients manage overwhelming thoughts, worries, and physical symptoms of anxiety. Through therapy, we explore coping strategies to reduce stress, build resilience, and regain a sense of control.

Depression & Low Mood—If you’re feeling stuck, unmotivated, or struggling with persistent sadness, I provide a supportive space to explore your emotions and develop practical tools to improve your mood and well-being.

Life Transitions & Uncertainty—
Major life changes, such as career shifts, relationship changes, or personal growth, can feel overwhelming. I support clients in navigating these transitions with clarity and confidence.

Identity, Culture & Self-Esteem—I work with individuals exploring their sense of self, cultural identity, and self-worth. This includes challenges related to ethnicity, sexuality, religion, and societal expectations.

Burnout & Emotional Exhaustion— Whether from work, personal responsibilities, or caregiving, burnout can leave you feeling drained and disconnected. I help clients set boundaries, restore balance, and prioritize their well-being.

Fees

Individual Therapy – £70 for a 50-minute session in person or online.
If cost is a concern, I offer concession rates — please reach out and we can work something out.
