Counselling is for when life can be challenging and you would like someone  to talk to in confidence who is non-judgmental,  actively listing, while building a rapport with you. 

Having had counselling myself in the past which definitely helped and made me think that this is something that I would love to do. It was daunting at first as I hadn't had counselling before and didn't know what to expect. It helped me get to a place where I could cope on my own .

Nursing had become to physical due to Arthritis, this was the ideal career move, while still helping people. I have always enjoyed helping people and building  a rapport with my patients and collegues. I am also a supervisor in Counselling.

Working online is perfect for me and enjoying this new career change.

I do tailered therapy sessions to meet your needs as everyone unique.  Using talking therapies, integrated counselling, person centred, cognitive behavoural therapy, and how to use self help tools.

I use online therapy as it works well for me and my clients, by either  skype, whatsapp. Microsoft teams , Google meet, or through a secure portal.

Whatever you feel the most comfortable with.

Depression , when you have been struggling with normal everyday activities for over 2 weeks.

Sessions would be between 6-12 depending on your needs.

Anxiety, when feeling fear or unease, when your anixety is affecting you that you are getting overwhelming and affecting your daily life. 

6-12 sessions depending on your needs.

Most common issues I support people with:

Struggling with negative thoughts, feelings of sadness , behaviours, lack of motivation and increased fatigue. Help with having a positive mind set. Changing the negative thoughts into positive ones. 

Getting motivated and start doing things that you once previously enjoyed. Looking to the future with goal of were you want to be, one step at a time, in the time that you feel comfortable with.


Looking after your wellbeing, good sleep hygiene, exercise, socialising, healthy eating, hobbies, breathing exercise, mindfulness, meditation. Communication, phone a friend or relative keep talking.

The power of breathing, to help with stressful situations, relaxation. Lots of different types of breathing exercises.

Journaling, writing down your thoughts and emotions  when your stressed about something write it down, its not forgotton but your not dwelling on it.

Listening to music 

Using your 5 senses for grounding, 5 things you see, 4 things you feel, 3 things you hear, 2 things you smell, 1 thing you taste.
