Tash | Integrative Counsellor

Integrative counselling Exeter

Hello, and a warm welcome.

I offer an anti-oppressive, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where all identities, backgrounds and experiences are valued. Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. Here, you are invited to bring your whole self - your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and hopes - and be met with care, empathy, and respect.

I see therapy as a collaborative journey, guided by openness, curiosity, and your unique needs. Together, we can explore how your inner and outer worlds shape who you are, gently uncovering strengths, tender places, and new possibilities for healing and growth. While therapy can sometimes feel challenging, it can also bring clarity, resilience, and even moments of lightness and humour.

I welcome everyone, and I have particular experience supporting people affected by rape and sexual abuse, adult survivors of Child sexual abuse, domestic abuse, trauma, anxiety, chronic illness and pain, baby loss, life loss, and grief. Whatever your story, I believe you already carry the wisdom and resilience you need, and our work together can help bring that forward.

My approach is integrative and flexible, drawing on Person-Centred counselling, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Transactional Analysis (TA), somatic awareness, and creative interventions. I work from a trauma-informed perspective, always respecting your pace, your safety, and your unique journey.

My own life experiences help me to bring a depth of empathy and compassion to my work, which creates a safe and trusting environment where you can feel supported as you take steps towards healing and change.

  • Sexual abuse and rape (Including adult survivors of child sexual abuse) – offering compassionate support to those who have experienced sexual violence, helping to work through feelings of shame, fear, or isolation, and to reconnect with strength and self-worth.

  • Domestic violence – supporting survivors of abuse to find safety, heal from the impact of controlling or harmful relationships, and rediscover their voice and independence.

  • Anxiety – helping to ease constant worry, overthinking, or physical tension, and finding ways to feel calmer and more in control.

  • Baby loss and grief – offering sensitive support to those navigating the pain of miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss, recognising the unique grief and the need for gentle understanding.
