Counselling and Couples Counselling Langport

I know life can throw up some tough stuff along the way. Working with me can bring relief, understanding and build resilience. Our work together is confidential. I work in a skilled and gentle way alongside you to explore and understand the difficulties in your lives. I am an integrative psychotherapist fitting the therapy to your unique needs. We are led by what you bring and as a (accredited) member of the BACP I work to their ethical standards.


Relationship issues

I am specially trained to work with individuals, couples and relationship issues. Together we untangle what is happening and tease out the feelings that may be driving the actions. We will hear what is troubling you, form an understanding of what is needed and work with this. This will be a place of gentle collaboration. I work with the issues and feelings present and understand the history you both bring and how that affects the relationship.

We hope to hear what both need here and how we can move forward with this. Once we have a clearer understanding of what is happening and why.


About me

I am an accredited member of the BACP, I have a Certificate in the Couple Relationship with Tavistock Relationships. I have also done various other training in couple work. I have a certificate in counselling with the WPF, this is psychodynamic. I have level 2, 3, and the higher diploma level 5 in integrative counselling.

I have worked for many years, previously in front line services for mental health and well being. I did my clinical practice at Somerset Counselling Centre where I worked with a wide range of issues. I have worked in the counselling field for some years now.
