You may notice changes in your mood, difficulty in relationships, or a sense that you are trying to manage everything alone. Teens experience this too, especially when dealing with school stress, family challenges or identify concerns.
As a compassionate humanistic therapist, I offer a calm and supportive space where you can begin to make sense of what you are carrying. i support adults and teens who are navigating trauma, sexual abuse, domestic abuse, emotional overwhelm, and identity concerns. I also work with single mothers who feel stretched thin by responsibility and constant pressure. My aim is to help you feel grounded, understood, and able to reconnect with yourself at a pace that feels right for you.
About me
Hi, I am Buthiana, i support adults and teens who feel unheard, overwhelmed, or unsure how to express what they are going through. Many of the people i work with have experienced trauma, sexual abuse, emotional pressure, or difficult family situation. My aim is to offer a space where you can speak freely and feel safe to be yourself.
I have experience in services that support survivors of childhood sexual abuse and long term trauma. This work has shown me how heavy life can feel when you have had to cope on your own. It has taught me the value of patience, calmness, and being present when someone is sharing painful memories.
My training and personal development help me understand how lonely it feels when your emotions are dismissed or minimised. I want you to have space where you feel heard, respected, and supported at your own pace.

My approach
My approach is humaistic and trauma informed. I focus on your lived experiences and how you are feeling, rather than looking for what is "wrong" with you. I offer a calm space where you can express your conerns openly and feel understood. I draw on person centred, Gestalt, and existential ideas. we will work gently and at your pace, with attention to safety and emotional comfort. My aim is to support you with patience, compassion and respect.

Online therapy
I offer both in person and online therapy. Online sessions can offer more flexibility and comfort, if you prefer speaking from a familiar space. In person sessions can feel more grounded if you like being face to face in the room. Both options focus on giving you a calm and suppirtive enviroment where you can talk openly and explore what you are going through.Qualifications and registrations

My work focuses on supporting people who are living with the impact of trauma, including childhood sexual abuse and domestic violence. These experiences can touch every part of life, from identity and confidence to relationships and daily emotional well-being. I work with adults and teens, including single mothers who are managing alot on their own and young people who feel overwhelmed by school, family pressures, or changes at home.I also support clinets who are struggling with anxiety, low mood, shame, emotional overwhelm, or difficulties expressing thier feelings. I have frequently seen clients carry these emotions quietly for a long time or have grown up in enviroments where they had to stay strong. Therapy gives you the space to explore these feelings safely and at your own pace.
My approach is humanistic and trauma informed, I focus on your lived expereinces and what matters to you, rather then using lables. We can work gently and slowly, with attention to emotional comfort and safety. Sessions are 50 minutes and available online or in person.
