Psychotherapy and Counselling Wimbledon - London
Welcome — I’m glad you’re here.
Looking for a therapist and taking the first steps toward support can feel daunting, especially when you’re already struggling. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, or a sense of being stuck or lost, you don’t have to face it alone. Reaching out is a meaningful first step, and I’m here to help.
I offer a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and be met with compassion, curiosity, and care. Together, we will explore what’s been weighing on you, at a pace that feels right for you. Our initial sessions give us a chance to understand your needs and see how we might work together.
I am deeply passionate about my work as a psychotherapist, and I feel honoured to walk alongside people as they make sense of their experiences and move toward greater ease, clarity, and self-understanding. Therapy with me is not about fixing you — it’s about helping you reconnect with your inner strength, values, and sense of meaning.
My approach is integrative and holistic. This means I pay attention not only to your thoughts and emotions, but also to your body, your relationships, and the deeper questions of meaning and purpose that often arise during difficult times. While my work is informed by a spiritual perspective, you do not need to be spiritual to benefit from therapy. I simply hold the belief that even painful experiences can carry important messages and opportunities for growth, when explored gently and with support.
In our work together, we may look at patterns that no longer serve you, explore where they come from, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others. I aim to help you feel more grounded, more connected, and more aligned with what truly matters to you.
Creativity can also be part of the therapeutic process. When appropriate, I may invite the use of imagery, dreams, drawing, breath, sound, or body awareness. These gentle approaches can help access feelings and insights that are sometimes hard to reach through words alone — always guided by your comfort and choice.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I believe healing happens through a sense of trust, safety, and genuine human connection. I offer consistent presence, empathic listening, and a deep respect for your unique story.
I have experience working with anxiety, anger, chronic fatigue, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and a loss of meaning or direction in life. I have a particular interest in working with co-dependency, addiction, belonging, and recovery, and I have extensive knowledge of 12-step programmes including AA and Al-Anon.
You don’t have to go through this alone. If something here resonates with you, I warmly invite you to get in touch using the “Send a Message” button. I would love to hear from you.
I offer therapy in English and Persian (Farsi).
With warmth,
Yassi
Online therapy
I use Zoom for online sessions. My work environment is a safe and confidential space where no one else can see or hear the session. I also ask my clients to honour this requirement and make sure they are also in a space where they feel safe and where the material they share can't be heard or recorded.I have completed a comprehensive course on offering counselling online to make sure I adhere to all ethical standards and safety requirements. Sessions last for 50 minutes and are offered on a regular weekly basis.

Reviews Psychotherapy and Counselling Wimbledon - London
Below you will find reviews about Psychotherapy and Counselling Wimbledon - London - Yassi

Yassi showed the same level of care, interest and attentiveness online as she did in person.
Through our sessions I was able to step outside of myself and see things with a different perspective, which helped to come to terms with some personal trauma and life events that I had experienced.
She gave me the confidence to see myself as a very capable person and gave me tools to adjust my mindset and have a more positive outlook.
Yassi was very supportive, compassionate and empathetic to my situation but also realistic in terms of how to move forward to better my own mental health.
I feel fortunate to have had Yassi as my therapist.
