Introduction
As both a qualified psychosynthesis therapist and coach, I can draw on different tools and techniques to enable my clients to find a way through their difficulties and make changes. It might be necessary to look into the past and how it shaped you, but it is also just as important to look to the future - to the person that you want to become and the life that you want to build, and that is always the focus of the work that we will do together.
I can help you to clarify and articulate who you want to be and navigate the journey between where you are now and your destination, supporting and guiding you through your change process. On the way, you will get to know yourself better, build a stronger sense of who you are and how to navigate your way around the obstacles and challenges that you face.
I offer a space that is both safe and light where there is a place for both laughter and tears. I have been described by my clients as warm, supportive, challenging, empathic, insightful and accepting.
What is Psychosynthesis:
Psychosynthesis is a unique therapeutic and coaching approach that holds a both/and perspective, working with both your human (personal) and spiritual (transpersonal) experience. This means that, while it can effectively address common psychological issues like anxiety, depression and inner conflict, its core value lies in enabling individuals to connect with their "Self"—the unifying centre of awareness and will and source of inner wisdom, purpose, connectedness and wholeness.
This approach flips the common view of personal struggle on its head. Instead of seeing issues, challenges, or pain as problems to be fixed, psychosynthesis views them as opportunities. They become doorways for you to heal past wounds as you become more aware that you are much more than your challenges. This process allows you to connect to your authentic "Self" and consciously create a life that is aligned with your deepest values and unique purpose.

Online therapy
I am happy to work with my clients online via Zoom, Microsft Teams, Google Meets or WhatsApp video call - although if you would prefer to use a different application for our sessions, please let me know.Please note the following points relating to therapy on-line:
- Please can you ensure that you are in a place where you can be confidential and feel safe for our session.
- If the video gets interrupted and we cannot restore the connection then we will complete the session by phone.
- Please be aware that the security of the video cannot be guaranteed.
- Video or phone sessions are not to be recorded either by the therapist or the client.

- Registered Member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy)
- CMI Level 7 Certificate in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring
- Accredited Practitioner Coach Member of the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council)
- Certificate in Groupwork

I provide counselling, on a voluntary basis, for service users at Oasis Mental Health Support in Solihull, where I am also a Crisis Support Worker.

- Manage and overcome the difficult and intrusive thoughts and feelings that are often present with anxiety, stress and overwhelm.
- Identify and work through the causes of persistent emptiness, hopelessness, low mood and sadness that often come with depression, and find ways to build coping skills and resilience and improve quality of life.
- Challenge the voice of the inner critic and overcome negative self-talk to build self-esteem and confidence.
- Overcome limiting beliefs, that can often accompany a sense of worthlessness or “not being good enough” by building a stronger sense of who they are and re-writing their inner dialogue.
- Learn to listen to their own inner wisdom so that they can build a belief in their own judgment and become more decisive.
- Develop a better understanding of their own needs and emotions and improve communication skills, so that they can express themselves more authentically and build stronger healthier relationships.
