I am a qualified person centred counsellor, I qualified in 2011 and have worked in several different settings including supporting survivors of sexual abuse, young people from the ages of 11-25 years and I have worked with older people of 65 years and older supporting them in their own homes. Most of my career has been spent in senior schools supporting young people with their jouney through school.
I decided to continue with my passion and open my own private practice where i work from my own home in the heart of southsea.
I offer a safe, non-judgemental, warm space for you to be able to explore your thoughts and feelings.
Life can be really tough at times and sometimes we just need to feel heard and understand why we feel the way we do.
I believe in the true worth and the potential in everyone. My role is to listen with empathy, understanding and genuine respect.
Together, we will work at your own pace to identify your goals, gain greater self-awareness and find your own solutions.
My approach is to empower you to discover your inner strengths and to support you making meaningful changes to your life. I am here to support you with compassion, patience and an open mind.
I also offer a free initial telephone call so we can discuss a little more about the counselling and answer any questions you may have.

The online Platform i use is Doxy.meThe foundation remains the same as in face to face counselling, building trust and rapport through genuine, empathic engagement, its just adapted to the digital context.
Its flexible and accessible nature makes it a valuable option for many individuals seeking support.
Clients are encouraged to chose a private, comfortable space to ensure confidentiality and openness.
