Counselling Faversham
About Me
I am an Integrative Counsellor offering a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive space for individuals seeking to address a variety of concerns such as anxiety, low self-esteem, low mood, stress, and more. I understand that each person’s experience is unique, which is why I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor my support to your individual needs and goals.
With professional and personal experience working with neurodivergent individuals, I have gained a deeper understanding of the challenges that others may face and the strengths they bring to therapy. My approach is flexible, compassionate, and respectful of each person’s unique journey.
My Practice
In our work together, I believe in the importance of creating a collaborative relationship where you feel heard, understood, and self-assured. I will work alongside you to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in a way that feels comfortable, supporting you to find a more balanced and fulfilling sense of well-being.
I offer in-person counselling in a comfortable and peaceful location in Boughton-under-Blean, which is easily accessible by car and public transport with nearby parking and a bus stop close by. For those who would prefer remote sessions, I also offer online counselling via Zoom, providing flexibility to fit your schedule.
Sessions are 50 minutes long, and I am committed to providing a safe, non-judgemental space where we can work at a pace that feels right for you. I believe that counselling is not just about addressing challenges but also about recognising and building on your strengths. My aim is to help you gain insight, build coping strategies, and ultimately, find a way forward that feels right for you.
Therapeutic Approach
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, models and techniques, allowing me to tailor our work to suit your individual needs rather than taking a “one size fits all” approach. This means I can adapt the way we work together depending on what feels most helpful for you at different stages of your journey.
In our sessions, I focus on exploring and understanding your personal values, helping you gain clarity on what truly matters to you and how you would like to move forward. By increasing self-awareness and insight, we can begin to gently challenge unhelpful patterns, build confidence, and strengthen your sense of self-assurance.
I place great importance on creating a safe, collaborative and non-judgemental space where you feel comfortable to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Whether you are looking to better understand yourself, develop coping strategies, or work through specific difficulties, I will work alongside you with compassion, curiosity and respect for your unique experience.
Introductory call
I offer a free 20-minute introductory call, via your choice of either telephone or Zoom, which gives us a chance to discuss what you are looking to achieve through counselling and to explore how I work. The call also includes a brief safeguarding assessment to ensure that our work together is safe and appropriate for your needs. It’s an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have to help you make an informed decision about moving forward. Please get in conact if you would like to book an introductory call.
Online therapy
Online Counselling
I am certified to provide counselling online and over the telephone, offering flexible support that suits your needs. I provide online sessions via Zoom, creating a safe and private space where you can feel comfortable and supported. I have worked with clients from all over the country, and many have found online therapy to be highly effective, helping them feel heard, understood, and supported from the comfort of their own space.
It’s natural to feel unsure about online therapy at first and to wonder whether it will feel as personal or connected as meeting face-to-face. In my experience, meaningful and trusting therapeutic relationships can absolutely be built online, and many clients find it easier to open up when they are in their familiar environment.
You can attend sessions from a confidential space of your choosing, using a device with a camera and microphone. I conduct sessions from a dedicated private room and use headphones to ensure your privacy is fully protected. If the connection is lost during a session, I will always try to reconnect promptly. If we are unable to resume on Zoom, I will call you to check in and discuss how you would like to proceed. As with in-person therapy, sessions are 50 minutes long and provide the same supportive, non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts and feelings at a pace that feels right for you.

Training, Qualifications and Experience
I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support individuals facing a range of challenges. I recognise that each person’s perspective is shaped by their unique experiences, values, beliefs, and cultural background. I have experience working with individuals from a variety of cultural backgrounds, and I am committed to creating an inclusive and respectful space for everyone.
In addition to my professional training, I also have personal and professional experience working with individuals who are neurodivergent. This has deepened my understanding of the diverse challenges and strengths that some may experience, and I approach my work with empathy, respect, and a flexible approach tailored to each individual.
I am also fully trained and certified to offer online therapy, ensuring that I provide a service that is effective, ethical, safe, and secure. This enables me to offer the same high standard of care to clients remotely.

What I Support You With
I offer counselling and therapy for a range of concerns, including anxiety, low mood or depression, low self-esteem, stress, self-confidence, and challenges relating to self-identity. With experience working with neurodivergent clients, I bring understanding, flexibility, and a compassionate approach to each person’s unique situation.
I offer open-ended sessions, allowing you to work at a pace that feels right, with regular reviews to reflect on progress and adjust our work together as needed. While the number of sessions varies depending on individual goals and circumstances, this approach provides the flexibility to focus on both immediate challenges and longer-term growth.
My aim is to create a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences, build coping strategies, and develop a stronger sense of self-confidence, resilience, and well-being.
Most common issues I support people with:
Anxiety
Anxiety can affect people in many different ways, from persistent worry to physical tension or restlessness. In therapy, we explore your experiences, notice patterns, and work together to find approaches that help you feel more supported and in control.
Low Mood or Depression
Low mood or depression can show up differently for each person. I provide a space to explore your feelings, understand contributing factors, and consider ways to support your wellbeing and sense of balance.
Low Self-Esteem
Low self-esteem can affect confidence, decision-making, or how you relate to yourself and others. In therapy, we can explore your experiences, reflect on your strengths, and work towards a sense of self that feels more supportive and affirming.
Stress
Stress can come from many sources and affect people in different ways. Together, we can explore what contributes to your stress and develop strategies and tools that help you manage it in a way that works for you.
Loss of Self-Identity
Feeling disconnected from yourself or your values can happen for a variety of reasons. Therapy provides a space to explore who you are, what matters to you, and ways to reconnect with a sense of self that feels authentic.
