Counselling Oxford

You might experience a time where you feel stuck, face a challenging period, struggle to cope or you might just want to understand yourself better. You might not know where to turn to. Talking to a non-judgemental and warm counsellor in a confidential environment may help you live life in a more fulfilling and resourceful way. In counselling with me you can explore your experiences and feelings, which may be troubling and distressing you. I am aiming to create a safe, respectful and supportive relationship, where you get the time to heal and grow, restore connections in your life and have an opportunity to nurture yourself.

I will support you in making sense of your experiences, understanding yourself better, having more clarity & finding your own insights & resolutions, and growing your self-awareness, building your resilience or overcoming past destructive patterns enabling you to make better choices for yourself & leading a more positive and fulfilled life in the present.

I recognise that people come to therapy for a variety of different reasons and want different things. I take a holistic approach to you by understanding & recognising your unique experience, your life, the relationship with yourself & others & the world around you.

I provide a safe, confidential & non-judgemental space encouraging you to freely express yourself, your emotions, vulnerabilities & experiences, by offering a trusting and supportive relationship.

If you would like to know more or book an appointment, please send me a message.

Online therapy

I offer counselling sessions in both German and English.

I offer online video counselling sessions and have experience working with clients using Skype and Zoom or the phone since 2016.

Why you might choose online counselling.

  • It saves you time
  • You may feel more comfortable working with a counsellor who is not local to you
  • If you are away from home, you don't have to miss your session
  • It can offer greater flexibility regarding session times, if you lead a busy live
  • You may find leaving home difficult, emotional or physical challenging. Online video counselling may be a start working towards being able to meet face-to-face.

Qualifications and registrations

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework. I attend regular supervision to support my work.

Previously I completed an Introduction to Counselling Course from Ewert House, Oxford University. I further have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Sociology from Oxford Brookes University in Oxford.

As a humanistic counsellor I am trained in Person-Centred counselling, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt therapy, and apply all three approaches in my work.
