David | Adults and Couples Therapist
Introduction
Hello. I'm David. I'm a therapist working with individuals and with couples, either in person or online. In person sessions take place at my consulting room in West Molesey, Surrey.
My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties.
Individual therapy: I am able to offer a safe and supportive space (either in person or online) to discuss problems you may be experiencing in your relationship with others or, indeed, your relationship with yourself.
If you are struggling with stress, anxiety or depression, you may well benefit from the opportunity to discuss your difficulties and uncover their root causes. You may find that talking therapy improves your level of self-awareness and frees you from unhelpful patterns of behaviour.
Couples therapy: Relationships are not easy. Couples therapy offers the chance to discuss your problems and challenges as a couple in a safe, confidential space.
Firstly, I will ask what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. Then we can begin to investigate the causes of your conflicts, why you tend to see things differently, and how to communicate more productively.
I work with many different kinds of couples and will always endeavour to respect your differences and understand your specific circumstances.
If you would like more information about how I work, please send me a message.

I use Zoom for online therapy.Qualifications and registrations
I trained in Couple and Individual Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at Tavistock Relationships, a centre of excellence in psychotherapy training. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their ethical framework.
I bring to my work as a therapist many years of varied experience working in the Arts sector and also in the business world.
I have a lifelong interest in how we relate to each other, why it can be so challenging and how relationships can be improved, even transformed.
