Counselling & Psychotherapy Heswall - Wirral

I'm currently unavailable.
Please contact another counsellor on this website.

--- In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, I am offering online, video or phone sessions (Skype, Facetime, Zoom) at a reduced fee. ---

My name is Elsa. I’m a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and Registered Mental Health Nurse with over twenty years’ experience working with adults with complex and enduring mental health needs.

I provide CBT across a wide range of client groups with both mild, moderate and complex presentations including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma and psychosis. I use defined CBT interventions based on scientific principles and believe that identifying personal values and strengths are central in guiding people to work creatively towards their own recovery.

I can provide a safe space for exploration and self discovery, where you can talk openly without fear of judgement or bias. I'm down to earth, compassionate and enjoy helping people to learn new strategies to move forward in their lives.

Online therapy

I use face-to- face sessions, email, text, audio and/or video communications. Online arrangements will be through Skype, Facetime or Zoom. We both have a responsibility to maintain adequate firewalls and virus protection at either end of our communications. I will be responsible for initiating any calls and I ask you to ensure that your immediate environment for our session is safe, private and free from distractions.

Statement concerning the coronavirus pandemic

At present, in response to the Covid-19 outbreak, clients are primarily offered telephone or online therapy to reduce the risk of transmission. Heswall Hills Counselling Centre remains open at this time which can be used where telephone or online therapy is not a suitable option.

Precautions are in place at HHCC to help prevent the spread of the virus. Surfaces throughout the centre are cleaned daily with anti-bacterial spray and surfaces which are frequently touched, such as door handles and  are cleaned between clients. Rooms allow safe social distancing – 2 metres (6ft).

Clients and other therapists are asked not to attend the centre if they, or anyone they have been in close contact with, are showing any of the common signs of the virus.

Should government advice change and I am are no longer able to offer any face-to-face sessions, I will still be available to new clients but only via telephone or online therapy.
