Hi, my name is Janine and I am an experienced counsellor/therapist who works with adults and young people from my therapy room at Pioneer House in Ellesmere Port. I offer face to face and online appointments during daytime hours, evenings and Saturday. I work online via zoom for clients countrywide or telephone.

I specialise in working with individuals who have experienced childhood trauma, narcissistic or emotionally abusive relationships, and adult trauma.

My counselling approach is person-centred and Pluralistic. Person-centred means you can expect to be treated non-judgementally; empathically and compassionately, me walking beside you through whatever you wish to bring to our sessions; and me being my genuine 'self' in the counselling relationship. Pluralistic means I use a variety of counselling strategies, in collaboration with you, to best address what you are looking for help with.

We can feel lost for so many reasons, loss of a loved one, breakdown of a long term relationship, loss of a job life role change such as having a baby or children flying the nest, menopause, loss of health, traumatic life event where we feel we can never be the same again.
