Leave a message and I will contact you as soon as possible.
My name is Kathy. In my practice I provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings. Talking to a friend, your partner, or another family member might sometimes not feel helpful, appropriate or enough.
I combine counselling and coaching approaches in my practice and I help you find a path towards living a happier, more fulfilled life. I bring warmth, professionalism and pragmatism to my work, with the primary aim of helping you to achieve the outcome you seek.
Being able to express yourself openly without fear of being judged can be a liberating and reparative experience, enabling you to move forward and feel strong again.
I am professionally qualified and an accredited registered member of BACP (the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
My particular specialism are:
- Work-Life balance
- Managing stress
- Working with mums returning to work after a career break
- Relationship issues
I also work with most of the usual presenting issues, eg bereavement, eating disorders, depression , anxiety.
Feel free to contact me to arrange an initial session. We can explore what has brought you to seek support, and whether I am the right therapist for you.
Throughout my working life I have been working with people and organisations enabling growth, achieving potential, high functioning teams, healthily work-life balance, and increased work/life satisfaction and fulfilment.
Prior to becoming a counsellor and coach I was a senior HR professional with over 15 years experience in the corporate sector. I have held several director level positions where I had responsibility for leading and implementing people management strategies. Additionally responsible for providing executive and leadership coaching, recruiting at all levels, performance management training for business leaders and managers.
I bring a wealth of organisational and personal experience to my work, underpinned with pragmatism, warmth and professionalism.
My area of research is "Working mums returning to work". I have a number of published articles on the topic for BACP’s Coaching Today (feature article) and Association for Coaching quarterly e-bulletin.
I have also presented at conferences on this topic.
I am happy to offer you confidential secure video sessions via Zoom or WhatsApp or if you prefer, telephone sessions.
