Counselling and Psychotherapy Daventry
Hi, my name is Jill, thank you for your interest.
I have been a counsellor and psychotherapist for 12 years and practice from a clinic based in a pretty courtyard in central Daventry with free parking.
I offer a free initial call for you to ask me any questions you may have and to make sure we are a good fit for your therapy journey.
Sometimes we all need support. Life today is challenging and our problems can seem overwhelming and without solution. Counselling aims to help you deal with and overcome issues that are causing emotional pain or making you feel uncomfortable. My aim is to offer a warm, non-judgemental space from which you can explore your issues, develop greater self-awareness and be supported in finding the best way forward to a happier and more balanced life.
As an experienced BACP registered counsellor, psychotherapist and trained EMDR practitioner I work with adults with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, bereavement, PTSD and complex trauma. I am also a qualified cognitive behavioural therapist, an approach that explores the thoughts, feelings and behaviour that are at the root of many of life's issues.
I adhere to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy’s Ethical Framework. This includes attending regular supervision to ensure I am practising ethically, safely and with the best interests of my clients at all times.
I offer short term and long term therapy.
Online therapy
I offer online sessions via Zoom or Microsoft teams. It is also an alternative option for face to face clientsif they so wish.
