Integrative Counselling Milton Keynes

When Life Feels Overwhelming

Life can be challenging, and there are times when we all need a safe place to talk through our feelings and experiences. You may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, loss, stress, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck. You might also be navigating a major life transition, pressures at work, questions around identity, or a deeper search for purpose and direction. Whatever you are facing, you don’t have to go through it alone.

About Me

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and have more than 10 years of experience working as an integrative therapist. Over this time, I have supported people from many different walks of life, each bringing their own unique story and challenges. My background has given me the privilege of working with a wide range of issues, from everyday stresses to more complex and long-standing difficulties. What remains at the heart of my work is a commitment to offering warmth, empathy, and a genuine respect for each person’s individuality. I believe that every client has the capacity for growth and change, and my role is to walk alongside you as you discover your own way forward.

My Therapeutic Approach

My integrative approach means I draw from different therapeutic methods - including person-centred, cognitive-behavioural techniques and transactional analysis - so that we can work in a way that best suits your needs.

How I Can Support You

My aim is to provide a warm, non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to be open and honest about whatever is on your mind. Together, we can explore your thoughts and feelings at a pace that feels comfortable for you, while gently uncovering patterns or perspectives that may be holding you back. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where we work side by side to deepen understanding, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Sometimes this might involve offering new tools or coping strategies; at other times it may be about giving you the space simply to be heard and understood. However we work together, my focus is always on supporting you in a way that feels authentic, respectful, and centred around your needs.

Flexible Online and Telephone Therapy

At present, I offer therapy sessions via WhatsApp Video, WhatsApp Audio, and telephone. Many people find this flexibility reassuring and convenient, allowing them to access therapy from a comfortable and private space, without the added stress of travel.

Taking the First Step

Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, and it’s completely natural to feel uncertain about what to expect. Reaching out for support is a sign of strength and self-awareness, and it shows a willingness to care for yourself even when things feel difficult. Our work together will move at a pace that feels right for you, with space to ask questions and reflect along the way. If you are considering therapy, I warmly welcome you to get in touch and lets begin to build a supportive space where you feel listened to, understood, and able to explore your thoughts and feelings freely.

Online therapy

I offer therapy sessions via WhatsApp Video, WhatsApp Audio, and telephone. Many people find this flexibility reassuring and convenient, as it allows them to access support from a comfortable and private space, without the added stress or time for travel. Online and telephone sessions can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy lifestyle, and some clients find it helps them feel more at ease when opening up. My goal is to provide a safe, confidential, and supportive environment, no matter the format, so you can focus on exploring your thoughts and feelings in a way that works best for you.

Most common issues I support people with:

I work with people experiencing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. Some of the areas I commonly support include:

  • Anxiety: Whether it’s persistent worry, panic, or feelings of overwhelm, I help you understand your triggers and develop strategies to manage anxious thoughts and physical sensations. Together, we explore ways to regain a sense of calm and confidence in daily life.

  • Depression: For those experiencing low mood, lack of motivation, or a sense of hopelessness, I provide a supportive environment to reflect on underlying thoughts and feelings. We work collaboratively to identify patterns, strengthen coping resources, and gradually reconnect with activities and relationships that bring meaning and enjoyment.

  • Bereavement: Loss can bring complex emotions, from sadness and guilt to anger and confusion. I support you through the grieving process, helping you express your feelings openly, honour your experiences, and gradually find ways to adjust to life after loss without pressure to “move on” too quickly.

  • Relationship Issues: Conflicts, communication difficulties, or changes in family, friendships, or romantic relationships can be deeply stressful. I help you explore your patterns, improve understanding, and develop healthier ways to relate to yourself and others.

  • Stress: Whether related to work, study, or personal life, stress can feel overwhelming and exhausting. I support you in identifying sources of stress, developing practical coping strategies, and creating a sense of balance and self-care in your daily life.
