Rhonda | Person centred / integrative
Introduction
Hello and a warm welcome to my page! We all have times in our lives when things are difficult or life doesn’t go quite according to plan. Talking to someone who is not emotionally connected to you can be helpful when feeling painful emotions, facing difficult decisions or in helping you to understand or explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so you can develop a better understanding of yourself and of others.
You may be feeling quite unsure and confused at the moment and finding the right therapist might feel like a daunting prospect. With many therapists to choose from, it is important you find someone you will feel comfortable in sharing your journey with. To help you make a decision, I will give you some information about myself to help you make an informed choice.
My name is Rhonda and I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist for adults and children. I am also a clinical supervisor, a Licensed Practitioner of Understanding Your Eating Programme and an EFT Accredited Practitioner.
I am a Registered Member of British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy. This means I must adhere to their terms and conditions, including commitment to continuing professional development and working to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
I am also an EFT Accredited Practitioner and a member of EFT International.
I have many years’ experience of working with children, young people and adults both long and short term. I have provided therapy within a third sector, a school counselling setting and also have my own private practice.
I welcome both adults and children locally, nationally and internationally.
Online therapy
For counselling sessions online, I use the video-conferencing platform Teams which provides a high level of end-to-end encryption.Confidentiality is paramount when engaging in therapy sessions, therefore it is important for you to ensure that you have a safe place to speak where you will not be over-heard or interrupted. I will be speaking to you from my confidential therapy room.
