Mika | Person-Centred and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist
Person-Centred Therapy Manchester
Hello, my name is Mika, MBACP. DipHE Psyc. Dip Couns
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor and student psychotherapist. My services include short-term and long-term therapy and support. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am fully insured and hold a full enhanced DBS check.
I offer face-to-face sessions at my private therapy room in North Manchester, as well as online and telephone sessions - making counselling accessible to all.
I provide a safe, down-to-earth space to talk things through. Sometimes life can feel heavy - even when you can’t quite put your finger on why. I support people through anxiety, loss, stress, major life changes and the moments when life feels overwhelming. Whether you’re feeling anxious, trapped in negative thoughts or just need someone to listen without judgement, therapy can help you find clarity, calm and confidence again.
Why choose me?
I combine Person-centred counselling with elements of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). This means our work is unique to your individual needs, while providing practical coping strategies to help you manage thoughts, emotions and behaviours more effectively.

You are enough, and you don’t have to go through this alone. My aim is to help you discover your identity, coping mechanisms, personality, core beliefs and life experiences. Reconnecting you with your true self and fostering personal growth.
