Leave a message and I will contact you as soon as possible.
My name is Isabelle, counsellor in Salford, Greater Manchester.
I am a fully qualified person centred therapist with many years experience. I use an Integrative approach using CBT techniques and motivational approach. I offer short or long term therapy.
As well as having my own practice, I also work within the NHS where I provide counselling for the staff; they come to me regarding work issues and personal issues. I also provide Resilience and Wellbeing training and relaxation sessions to them.
Counselling enable people to talk, help them to understand and manage their difficulties they are experiencing in the moment in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
Counselling can help with improving the emotional/mental state as well as the physical condition.
I work with different issues
I work with different issues such as anxiety, stress, bereavement etc. however I specialise in relationships and family issues, childhood issues, self esteem, self confidence and through that; working on strategies to solve and manage issues so that happiness can be part of people’s life.
I see myself as a genuine, understanding, empathetic, approachable and non-judgemental person. I am French native meaning that I understand how difficult it is to adapt and build a life in another country, learning to live in a different culture and speak a different language. I am aware of the anxieties and loneliness which can often be experienced in moving to a foreign country.
The first step is most of the time the hardest; I am more than happy for you to contact me and we could discuss how I can help you managing the present better. I offer an half hour session free over the phone.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, I am now offering online therapy via Zoom or Skype. I understand the anxiety , the stress, the worry you must experience in your daily life and the impact it can have on your mental and physical health.
I am happy to have a 15 minutes no obligation consultation by telephone, zoom, skype or WhatsApp to see if we can work together.
By working together, I would hope to give you the opportunity to talk, find the right coping strategies to manage better what is going on in yourt life at the moment in the privacy of your own home or somewhere else where you feel safe to talk to me via online therapy.
Statement concerning the coronavirus pandemic
At present, I only work online and will be reviewing for face to face counselling in January 2021.
During this challenging time, it is normal to experience different emotions as deep fear, high anxiety, depression, feeling isolated and alone. Therefore, it feels very uncomfortable as we are dealing also with the unknown. Accessing counselling online can feel safer.
