Kate | Psychotherapist, couples therapist, psychosexual therapist and divorce counsellor
Introduction
Whatever you're going through, I'd like to help you.
Finding a therapist can be draining in itself. There are a lot of therapists out there and it can be hard to choose between us. Here are a few reasons to choose me.
I’m very experienced. I have been working as a therapist for over 15 years and I’m a much stronger therapist as a result. A really good therapist remains calm, steady and compassionate, no matter what clients throw at them! It takes years to develop that strength.
Clients like me. The vast majority of clients who come for an initial consultation choose to continue with me, and my clients tend to stay long-term. While I’m happy to work short-term, some clients stay for years, because they continue to find our sessions valuable.
I offer rich therapy. I trained in integrative psychotherapy, couples therapy and psychosexual therapy. Each of the three enriches the other. The integrative approach enables me to work deeply; training in couples work gave me particular expertise in relationships; and as a psychosexual therapist I’ve become skilled in helping clients discuss intimate issues.
My beautiful therapy rooms are conveniently located. I work from a discrete, professional building in central London, minutes from Oxford Circus. Set up specifically for counsellors and therapists, the rooms are comfortable, bright and private. I am also happy to see clients online, whether for some of their sessions or all.
It’s easy to find out if I’m a good fit for you. I offer a free 20-minute phone call so you can ask any questions you may have, tell me what you’re looking for and get a feel for whether I’m the right therapist for you. My initial consultations are set at a low fee so you don’t have to make a big financial commitment before deciding whether to continue with me.
Online therapy
I offer online therapy sessions every day from Tuesday to Friday. Some of my clients have all their sessions online; some see me in person when they can and online when that isn't convenient. I'm happy to work in whichever way suits you.
Sessions are held over Zoom. I set up the Zoom session and send you the link when you book your session, so all you need to do is find somewhere private and click on the link.
