Introduction

WELCOME

There are parts of life that resist simple answers.

You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, burnt out, grieving, navigating relationship difficulties, questioning who you are or what you want, or carrying experiences that feel too complex to hold alone. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels meaningful and authentic.

HOW I WORK

I offer a warm, collaborative and reflective therapeutic relationship. My approach is relational and person-centred, meaning I don't see people as problems to be fixed. Rather than simply giving advice or sitting silently while you talk, I work alongside you to explore patterns, emotions, relationships and the meanings you make of your experiences.

I OFTEN WORK WITH

• Grief and loss
• Life transitions and identity questions
• Relationship and family difficulties
• Neurodivergence and burnout
• Anxiety and feeling overwhelmed
• Low self-esteem and self-understanding

WHAT THERAPY MIGHT FEEL LIKE

I aim to create a space where you feel able to bring your whole self, including the parts that are uncertain, contradictory, messy or difficult to put into words. My hope is that therapy becomes somewhere you feel genuinely heard, think differently about yourself and your experiences, and move towards a life that feels more compassionate, authentic and congruent.

Online therapy

I currently offer online therapy sessions via Google Meet. Once an appointment is arranged, you will receive a calendar invitation containing a secure meeting link. All you need is a quiet, private space, a stable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone.

Many people find online therapy to be a convenient and comfortable way of accessing support, allowing them to attend sessions from their own environment without the need to travel. Sessions are 50 minutes long and take place at an agreed regular time.

Specialisations and Expertises

I work primarily with adults who are navigating grief and loss, neurodivergence, anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship difficulties and challenging family dynamics. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from themselves, or are carrying experiences that are difficult to make sense of alone.

I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent adults, including those exploring ADHD or autism and the impact these experiences can have on identity, relationships, self-understanding and burnout.

My approach is relational and person-centred. Rather than offering quick fixes or advice, I provide a warm, reflective and collaborative space in which we can explore your experiences, identify patterns and work towards a deeper understanding of yourself and your needs.

Some clients attend therapy for a specific issue over a period of 6-12 sessions, while others prefer longer-term, open-ended work to explore more complex experiences and longstanding patterns. We would regularly review our work together to ensure therapy continues to meet your needs.

Most common issues I support people with:

  • Grief and Loss
Grief can follow bereavement, the end of a relationship, changes in identity, or letting go of hopes and expectations for our lives. I offer a compassionate space to process loss in all its forms.

  • Life Transitions and Identity
Periods of change can leave us feeling uncertain, stuck or disconnected from ourselves. I work with people who are questioning who they are, what they want, and how they wish to move forward.

  • Neurodivergence and Burnout
I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent adults, including those exploring ADHD or autism. Together, we can explore self-understanding, overwhelm, masking, burnout and ways of living more authentically.

  • Relationships and Family Dynamics
Relationships can be a source of both comfort and pain. I support people navigating difficult family relationships, boundaries, communication challenges, relationship uncertainty and patterns that feel hard to change.

  • Anxiety and Feeling Overwhelmed
Anxiety can show up in many ways, including overthinking, self-doubt, emotional exhaustion and feeling unable to switch off. Therapy can offer space to slow down, understand what lies beneath these experiences and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Fees

Individual counselling sessions (50 minutes): £50 per session.

I also offer a limited number of reduced-fee spaces (£40 per session) for people who may not otherwise be able to access therapy due to financial circumstances. These spaces are reviewed periodically and subject to availability.

Sessions are currently offered online via Google Meet. Payment is made by bank transfer prior to each session unless otherwise agreed.

I recognise that beginning therapy can feel like a significant commitment, both emotionally and financially. If cost is a concern, I encourage prospective clients to get in touch and we can discuss whether a reduced-fee space may be suitable.
