I'm Jude, a registered counsellor offering face-to-face therapy in Buckhurst Hill as well as online. I am qualified and experienced to work with clients presenting many different challenges including anxiety, depression, lack of motivation, low self-esteem and confidence, loss and bereavement. I work with adults of any age, and young people over the age of 13, and couples experiencing difficulties in their relationship. I am experienced working with neurodiverse clients. Sometimes, the thought of talking to a friend or loved-one about our problems makes us feel like a burden. Sometimes there just isn't anyone to talk to that we feel will understand, or care about what we're going through. That's where I come in. I can be that person to give you the support you need to create the changes you want to see. 

Depending on what issue/s you bring to the sessions, we can decide together your preferred way of working. We can discuss this at our initial phone chat where we will look at your reasons for seeking therapy at this time, and decide if working with me can meet your expectations.

I am experienced at working in several therapeutic approaches, with the person-centred model at the core of all I do. This means I create a safe, confidential space to enable you to bring whatever it may be that is causing you concern. I am an empathic, compassionate therapist who will actively listen to you without judging. I can incorporate other modalities of therapy including CBT, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and creative techniques.
