Online therapy and counselling

Hello and welcome. I appreciate how overwhelming it can be to reach out for therapy and begin the process, so thank you for making that first step today. I am an experienced therapist with expertise is anxiety, family issues and bereavement. I provide a safe and empathic space to work at your pace through the issues affecting you.

 

I offer therapy through video and telephone giving you the flexibility to attend sessions where you feel most comfortable and safe, at a time and place convenient for you. I provide video counselling through Microsoft teams and Google meet. 

 

I have been providing therapy on behalf of employer's for many years for relationship breakdowns, stress, anxiety, depression, low self esteem and many other issues. I'm also skilled in occupational health and supporting and advising on mental health in the workplace.

I believe you are the expert in your own life and I work in a client centred way. I use various tools from a wide range of modalities such as person centered ,CBT, inner child work etc to find what helps you. We work together to create strategies and understanding to help manage when things feel too much and create space for self compassion. I aim to help you understand and heal wounds from the past that may still be impacting you today.

Qualifications and registrations

I have a Master's degree in Counselling and provide therapy for a wide range of differing issues.
My approach to counselling is that I see each client as unique and needing different things from therapy. I believe therapy should feel safe, at your pace and decisions made collaboratively together. I use a range of methods to tailor the therapy to you.
I have many years experience working in counselling through business's in Employee Assistance Programme's (EAP) as well as private therapy work and occupational health.
