Hello, I'm Anna. I'm an award winning, Health Coach, Life Coach, Nutritionist and BWRT Therapist.  

 

I help (mostly women) who feel uncomfortable in their own skin and trying to break free of excess weight, fatigue, cravings and bloating.  

 

Mind and body are connected so I apply my training and experience with nutrition, health and behavioural psychology to consistently motivate and empower people to make changes to release weight, improve happiness and boost health.

Having struggled with being overweight for much of my adult life, I discovered that the answer is not fad diets or punishing exercise regimes. Success comes from improving the foundations of good health – nutrition, a happy gut, movement you enjoy, stress reduction and good sleep.

Body and mind are connected so alongside nutritional support, I offer BWRT* (Brainworking Recursive Therapy) to help my client overcome intrusive recurrsive thoughts, cravings, trauma, anxiety and feelings of low self worth.

Online therapy

I support private clients and small groups both in person (in Stroud) and online (Zoom).   I can help you to  make dietary and lifestyle changes that will help you to release weight, feel energised, happy and in control of your health. 
I have a holistic, body and mind approach that is based on the sound scientific principles of behaviour change, good nutrition, and movement alongside strategies to balance hormones, lower stress, improve sleep,improve gut health and reduce inflammation.

Clients who embark on a weight loss journey with me typically lose between1 - 2lb sustainably each week without calorie restriction or punishing exercise.

 

Qualifications and registrations

I am a Certified Health Coach, Certified Life Coach, a Full Member of the UK Health Coaches Association a Registered Level 1 BWRT Practitioner and a Member of the Institue of BWRT.

I am fully insured to provide Health and Life Coaching Services and BWRT Therapy.

The structure and content of the programs that I offer has been endorsed and overseen by the UK Health Coaches Association, Dr Brian Mowl (Diabetes), Dr Steven Masley (Heart Disease), JJ Virgin (Weight Loss), Terrence Watts MCGI (BWRT) and The British Association of Nutritional Professionals.

I specialise in helping midlife women who feel uncomfortable in their own skin and want to:

 

  • Improve body composition and/or reverse menopause weight gain (particularly
    abdominal, visceral fat). Most clients consistently lose 1lb – 2lb in a healthy way each week.
  • Feel healthy, vibrant and confident.
  • Alleviate menopause symptoms such as brain fog and hot flushes naturally.
  • Resolve digestive issues.
  • Normalise health markers such as cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
  • Have more energy.
  • Let go of traumatic memories, anxiety and intrusive thoughts.
  • Resolve sleep problems.

In the early summer of 2023, I was recognised by the UK Enterprise Awards as the UK’s Most Supportive Health and Lifestyle coach.

 

My step-by-step method solves the biggest problems that I see keep midlife women trapped in a body that they feel uncomfortable, unhappy (and often unwell) in.

 

I offer an initial one off strategy and planning session in which we take the first step to solving these problems together and then (if you require it) ongoing support to ensure that you reach your goals.

I work with my clients to provide a tailored plan that meets you where you are now and takes you to where you want to be.  The top 5 points we consider in this plan are:

Fees

Clients usually start their journey with a free, no obligation, 15 minute exploratory call.  Please send me a message so we can schedule a convenient time.  This is simply an opportunity to get to know a little bit about your goals and challenges and explore if I am a good fit to help you.

However, since the root cause of low energy, anxiety, weight gain, bloating, cravings and eating behaviour can be either psychological (mind) or physiological (body), or both, I generally advise that we order comprehensive blood tests before we have an initial session. 

These tests check for common hormonal imbalances and nutrient deficiencies that often contribute to weight management problems, anxiety, problems, sleeping, low energy and other health and wellbeing issues. If we find anything (and we often do!) we’ll deploy specific strategies to address these.

The costs of these tests is £177 and includes an initial (on off) 45 minute, strategy and planning consultation with me. 

If you would like my on going support, fees start from £45 per week. I typically meet clients either weekly or biweekly.
