Attachment focused therapy Worthing
I believe that healing happens in spaces where we feel safe, seen and truly heard. My goal is to create that kind of space for you – one where you can explore your thoughts, and feelings without fear of judgment. Your story, and lived experience will be honoured with care, and compassion.
I am an integrative counsellor based in Worthing, with a specialism in attachment-focused therapy.
My work is grounded in warmth, collaboration, and compassion, allowing you to explore not only what is happening now but also the deeper emotional experiences that lie beneath. Attachment work isn’t about blaming the past; it’s about making sense of it so that you can respond differently in the present.
Gently, we can examine your early experiences that influence your present-day relationships, self-worth, and emotional well-being. Together, we look at how these patterns developed, and how they may be affecting your life now – creating room for new insights, greater self-awareness, and healthier ways of relating.
In our sessions, I work at your pace, using a blend of talking therapy and, when it feels helpful, creative approaches that offer an alternative way of expressing your inner world. Working creatively can bring new perspectives and help access feelings that may be difficult to put into words. This may mean using pens and paper, sand tray work, therapeutic cards or symbols – there is no expectation of being ‘arty’ to work in this way.
I work with individuals who have neurodivergence (ND) (diagnosed or self-identified), including parents of ND children: I have lived experience of this. My work with ND clients includes those with ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, sensory sensitivities, burnout and masking. I am happy to make adjustments so that you are comfortable, and I will offer a flexible approach that respects your process.
I am passionate about offering an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ clients, welcoming all identities. Whether you are exploring gender, sexuality or seeking support in a world that hasn’t always felt safe, I will meet you with empathy, validation, and care.
I am trained in Rewind Trauma Therapy, which is an approach that can help people process and heal from traumatic memories without re-traumatisation. It can be used for single event traumas, complex trauma (multiple events), PTSD, anxiety and phobias. I am also a trauma-informed practitioner.
When you are ready, I am here to walk alongside you.
