Life doesn't always run smoothly and it can bring us various challenges, some of which can feel overwhelming.  Counselling can provide you with the time and space to make sense of how and why you feel the way you do, and to help you learn better ways of coping.

It can be hard to open up and share your inner most thoughts and concerns with someone, especially with someone you don’t know. We all have things on our minds that we feel we cannot raise, even with our closest family and friends. You will find that even just being able to verbalise your thoughts, with the freedom to talk openly and confidentiality, can be very therapeutic.

I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor. I can provide a friendly, safe and confidential space, where you will not be judged, allowing you to explore and make sense of whatever is troubling you and help you learn better ways of coping.

I have many years experience in counselling adults and young popel (over18) with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, low self esteem/confidence, self doubt, university life, exam/work stress, relationship issues, divorce/separation, feeling stuck, lack of direction and grief & loss.

I have also over 2 years experience working at a respected local charity counselling adults who suffer from the effects of emotional, sexual and physical childhood abuse. This includes additional training of working with complex trauma, post traumatic stress and generalised anxiety disorder.

Whatever is bringing you to counselling, I believe that everyone is unique, every issue is different, therefore I tailor sessions and draw from different approaches to help you get the most from your counselling

Zoom counselling and Telephone counselling

I specialise in online (Zoom video call) and telephone counselling and work with individual adults and young people over 18 anywhere in the UK.

Counselling sessions from the comfort of your own home can give you the flexibility and convenience to fit around the committments of daily life.

Flexible sessions offered. Weekly and fortnightly appointments available.

I understand that making the first step to see a counsellor can feel daunting, I believe it is important to find a therapist who you feel comfortable with.

Therefore I offer a free 30 minute introductory session to discuss your needs and to answer any questions you may have. This can be online by video call or by telephone, whichever you prefer. Please advise when booking.
