Counselling Peterborough
Hello and welcome, my name is Sarah and I am a qualified integrative counsellor. I offer both individual and relationship counselling online and face to face. I work without any judgement and offer help and support at a time when you most need it.
My aim is to provide high quality individual tailored therapy to all my clients. I use various approaches, as I am an integrative therapist, which enables me to use the right approach for each client. I offer short term to long term counselling, whichever is most suitable. Sometimes one or two sessions is enough for clients to get what they need or it may require longer exploration.
It is important to me to get to know my clients, working at their pace to explore current or past life events where they can express themselves and be heard. I step into your world without judgement, just empathy. In my couples work, I help guide you to the relationship you want, where you feel connected to one another. I use the Imago relationship therapy model in all my couples work, to help you achieve the most successful outcome.
I work face to face and online, this means that you can chose what works best for you. If you would like to know more or book an appointment, please feel free to send me a message. I look forward to working with you.
Online therapy
I usually work with zoom and will send you a link a few days before the session. If you prefer another medium, please let me know, as I can be flexible. This means I can work with clients nationallly and internationally, as well as locally.Qualifications and registrations
I am an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and have a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practise. I also have a Level 3 Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Introduction to Counselling Skills and am working on becoming a certified Imargo Relationship Therapist.
I have worked for organisations within the financial sector, volunteered and worked for charities supporting mental health and also in my own private practise.
The modality I have trained in is Integrated Counselling, which means I use some Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person Centred and Gestalt in my work.
