Well done for reaching out! My name is Sharon I am a psychotherapist/hypnotherapist and DBT therapist. I am NCPS accredited and registered with the hypnotherapy society. 

I offer both long term and short term work via telephone/zoom/whatsapp. I'm also able to offer sessions via the comfort of your own home and walk and talk (providing you live within a 5 mile radius of myself).

At times everyone feels stuck in life and needs a bit of help to become unstuck, I'm here to help with that process! Reaching out for help can feel very scary, but I ensure to make the process as relaxed as what I'm able to do.

I offer a friendly, compassionate, empathetic ear to listen to what you have going on in your life in a quiet safe place. Where no judgement is made in regards to whatever it is that you feel you want help with.

Being a psychotherapeutic counsellor means that I work in many ways but the main thing is you are at the centre of that work.

Prior to becoming a psychotherapeutic counsellor I worked within mental health for over 20 years in a wide variety of sectors, which has given me a good understanding on many conditions. I'm currently an affiliate of a local mental health charity and a suicide awareness charity. 

I offer a free 20 minute chat so as we can get to know each other and see if we are a good fit for each other. I offer help for anyone aged from 14 upwards. I hold an enhanced DBS.
