Hello my name is Ruthie. I currently offer counselling via Zoom. I work with individuals using EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), ACT and coaching. My speciality is working with couples using a combination of therapy and relationship coaching. Married to my business partner for over 40 years I have great confidence in the process!
I love working with people from every culture, race and religion around the world. Human beings have so much more in common than the differences we have.
I work with individuals who are going through a rough patch or want to clear stuff from their past which is weighing them down, as well as supporting people after a loss including a divorce. Recently I have completed extra training in Trauma therapy.
I am passionate about bringing couples back into connectivity, love and passion. I create a safe environment for you to work in. No shame, no blame, no criticism - rather learning new and healthful ways for you to communicate and being able to express your pain and hurt in a positive manner.

Online therapy
I offer Zoom counselling.
I also use Zoom with couples even when they may be in different locations to each other temporarily. I offer a free 15 minute Zoom consultation usually on the same days as the enquiry if at all possible but always within 48 hours.

My expertise is in Couples work alongside working with Individuals.Each client has different needs so it is impossible to guess how many sessions they will want. I am flexible and don't tie clients into long term therapeutic contracts. Sometimes people will want a break of a few weeks or even months and then decide they want to continue. I have worked with marital affairs, addictions, blended families, parent and child mediation, couples who are unsure whether to commit, trauma,bereavement. Having worked with people for over 30 years I doubt there is anything that I haven't yet seen or heard.

The top 5 issues I support people with tends to change depending what is going in the world at any given time. Previously with individuals it was Covid stress and today some of my work has been around the wars in Ukraine, Russia and Israel. Stress in and out of the workplace, Depression, Life Transitions, Relationship Issues and Self Esteem/worth seem to be the top five at the moment. Whatever the challenge you are facing today it is important to remember that Pain is inevitable but suffering is optional - I would be happy to meet you on Zoom and help you lessen them both.Therapies offered
