Irina | Counselling/ Therapist DipHIC MBACP LLM

Introduction

You may be coping on the outside, while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected underneath. I offer thoughtful, relational counselling in Bristol and online for anxiety, burnout, relationship difficulties, and low self-worth.

My approach focuses on helping you understand what’s driving your thoughts, emotions, and patterns, rather than pushing quick fixes. You don’t need to have the right words; we begin with where you are.

Together, we slow things down and make sense of what feels stuck or difficult. Over time, clients often experience a greater sense of clarity, emotional steadiness, and self-trust. You may find yourself responding rather than reacting, setting clearer boundaries, and feeling more grounded in yourself and your relationships.

Sessions

I offer sessions in central Bristol and online, with a free 30-minute introductory conversation.

If you’re curious about whether this kind of counselling could be helpful for you, we can begin with a free introductory conversation- with no pressure to continue.

Online therapy

I offer online therapy via Zoom, providing a flexible and accessible way to engage in counselling from the comfort of your own space.

Once a session is arranged, you will receive a secure link to join at the scheduled time - no complicated setup required.

My Zoom account is a paid professional subscription, which means your privacy and confidentiality are prioritised, with enhanced security features in place.

I also take care to ensure that sessions are held in a quiet, private environment on my end.

Online therapy can be just as effective as in-person work, offering a consistent, focused space for reflection, wherever you are.

Specialisations and Expertises

I support clients with anxiety, stress and burnout, relationship difficulties (including infidelity), and patterns of low self-worth, self-criticism, and people-pleasing.

My approach is grounded in my training as a Humanistic Integrative therapist, alongside experience in NHS settings, addiction services, and corporate and legal environments. I often work with people who appear to be coping externally but feel overwhelmed, exhausted or disconnected underneath.

Together, we focus on understanding what drives these patterns, strengthening self-worth, setting clearer boundaries, and helping you feel more grounded, clear, and in control.

I offer open-ended sessions, while regularly checking in on your goals, focus, and what feels most important to you.

Most common issues I support people with:

  • Supporting high-functioning professionals who feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or unable to switch off
  • Working with anxiety and overthinking, helping you feel calmer and more in control
  • Exploring relationship patterns, including trust, intimacy, and the impact of infidelity
  • Helping you understand and shift self-critical patterns and low self-worth
  • Creating space to explore feeling stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about direction
