Hi, my name is Gemma, and I am a BACP Accredited therapist who has experience of working with adults on a 1-2-1 basis with a variety of issues, including anxiety and depression. 

Are you feeling overwhelmed, and asking yourself why others don't seem to face the same struggles as you? 

May be you are feeling anxious, and want to feel more confident, or you would like to feel excited about the future instead of dreading it. 

Things may feel confusing and conflicting, and you might be struggling to work out what the 'right' decision is, which can feel exhausting and lonely. 

Or may be you are feeling frustrated that you always seem to be at the bottom of the pile of others priorities.

These are all things that we can explore together.

It is possible to have a different way of approaching challenges, and feel confident in the choices you make.

We can work together to understand what is going on for you, and how you would like things to be, even if you are not sure what that is right now. We can explore your experience, identify what you need, and help you move through any difficulties, with the aim of having a calmer more fulfilling life.

I provide an empathically, supportive and safe environment, and I am committed to providing therapy in a confidential and non-judgement environment. I have experience of working with people with a wide variety of issues, and I am happy to hear about what is troubling you.

Online therapy

I also have the option to offer sessions online via Zoom.  We can agree to have all sessions this way, or we can use Zoom for the sessions that you are unable to attend in person.

Qualifications and registrations

BSc (Hons) Psychology degree

Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling CPCAB
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling CPCAB
Level 3 Counselling Studies CPCAB
Level 2 Counselling Skills CPCAB

I am currently undertaking a Level 5 CPCAB Diploma course in Somatic Trauma Therapy (2023-2024).

Certificate in Adoption Support Counselling

I am an Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

I also have an enhanced DBS and fully insured.


Registrations

Fees

Sessions are 50 minutes long, on a weekly basis = £60.

I offer a free, 30 minute, initial meeting to see if we are happy to work together, and if you would like to book an appointment, then please do not hesitate to contact me.
