Welcome, I’m a Higher Accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor, offering talk-therapy (or 'psychotherapy') in Tiverton, Mid Devon and remotely.

I am interested in helping people who have long felt difficulty in getting by, or along with others, even when the reasons for this feel confusing or unclear.

Counselling is a conversation held in a steady, regular setting, away from everyday expectations and assumptions. Daily life may appear hurried or fixated on certain roles, but therapy shows us an alternative: a chance to be sincerely inquisitive about what is happening. Therapy is here for when your authentic experience is too important to ignore. Whatever you struggle with personally, we can meet with the intention to grasp what is really going on.

My specialism looks at what happens between people, and the ways things outside of awareness can influences this. This is sometimes called the 'relational' approach. I would especially welcome working with you wherever your experience has not met with recognition, as can happen in contexts like expressing gender, living with disability, being neurodivergent or surviving abuse.
