I have always enjoyed working with people. I have worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and low self-esteem.I come from a background in education, first as a Drama teacher, later working with young people experiencing social and emotional dificulties. As I trained to become a counsellor I had the privilege of worked with a broad range of adults . I now continue to be fascinated by the specialness that each person I meet carry with them.
I work in a person-centered way. You bring your expertise in being you. I bring empathy, warmth and a non-judgemental approach. Together we co-create a safe place. Safe to take time to sit in, examine and experiment with difficult thoughts and feelings. Together we can explore what your experiences mean to you.
As a member of the BACP I am thoroughly committed to the highest professional standards. I try to meet people individuals irrespective of labels given to them. I have been honoured to witness people changing, people growing.

Most common issues I support people with:
People are complex, I work with individuals not diagnosies. That said as a broad indication I have supported previous clients with loss, anxiety and depression. As a result of the work many have reported improvement with self-esteem and capacity for positive self-management.Fees
Each session is £50 to be payed at least 24hrs in advance.I offer a free initial telephone consultation of up to 30mins to help decide if this would work for you.
