I work with a range of issues including self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression and trauma
I have a particular interest in working with bereavement/ complex bereavement e.g suicide and child or baby loss.
Where does the therapy happen?
· In person at Kingsbridge, Quay House or Newton Abbott, Kingdom House.
· Online wherever you are via Microsoft Teams
· By telephone
What would we do in therapy?
We would use various tools and techniques designed to meet your unique needs. This may include creative methods such as working with cards, photos and everyday objects. (It is important to note that being creative is not about your artistic abilities). We may also look into how childhood relationships have shaped your current relationships and/or thinking and behaviour patterns.
What would be the benefits of our therapy work?
As well as emotional support and a space for you to be heard, you are likely to gain a deeper understanding and self-awareness resulting in increased confidence and self-esteem.
My passion has always been to give people hope and empower them to overcome their issues.

- 1 to 1 counselling with South West Ambulance Service (volunteer)
- Understanding & Working therapeutically with survivors of sexualised traumas. (York Women's Counselling Service)
- Creative Counselling & working with grounding tools. Working Creatively with Trauma, Symbols, Art & Colour, Cards, Photos & Images in Counselling, with Stories, Characters & Fairytale (Creative Counsellors)

Burnout - Feeling like you have lost your zest for life and are fatigued, you may feel numb/stuck.Bereavement - Loss of a loved one and the process of grieving and emotions that come with it, more complex bereavement losing someone through suicide or pregnancy/baby/child loss.
Trauma - Experiences that have caused your life to change which can have are having a negative impact on your day to day life.
Low Self Esteem - Low self confidence, feeling like you are not good enough and find it hard to see the good in you.
Neurodiversity - Strugglng with acceptance, deciding on diagnosis or waiting for diagnosis.
