Are you worried that having counselling will leave you unable to cope in your day-to-day life?

It’s common to beleive, when you’ve been holding everything in for so long that if you let the flood gates open, you’ll never be able to close them again. I imagine you’ve spent many years, maybe your whole life holding things in - that’s a lot of practice and you absolutely will be able to close the gates again.


When you're unable to cope with your feelings it can be difficult to navigate day to day life and move towards your goals.You might be feeling angry, anxious, resentful, confused, overwhelmed or completely depleted. 
 

In our sessions I will provide you a warm and holding space to explore your feelings and your struggles safely, I will manage our time so you will never leave a session highly emotional or unable to cope. I can support you to develop tools and skills to manage your feelings, leaving youcalmer and more resilient to face life’s challenges as we move towards your hopes and goals.
You're likely to find that that by letting some pressure out in a safe space that you gain more control to choose how to respond to your emotions.

 

Online therapy

I work via video platform and video call, I use a variety of platforms and we can discuss options when we speak. I provide email counselling via Proton which is a free secure email platform. 




Qualifications and registrations

I hold a BA Hons Integrative-Relational Counselling and a COSRT accredited Level 5 Diploma in Couples and Relationship Counselling. I also hold a level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills and theory and a certificate in Email Counselling.


I am a Registered Member BACP and a member of Creative Counsellors.

Specialisations and Expertises

Low Self-Esteem
Low self-esteem can come with feelings of shame, anxety and failure. It may be stopping you from having meaningful relationships, leaving you feeling lonely, anxious and trying to please everyone. Maybe there are things you'd like to do but are afraid that you're not good enough. Together we'll work to build your confidence up steadily at a pace that suits you. We'll support you to develop meaningful connections and to let go of shame and negative self-talk. 

Parenting Neurodivergent Children
Parenting a child or children that don't fit mainstream expectations of what parenting “should” look like, may leave you feeling isolated, resentful, guilty, judged and misunderstood. You might be struggling with anxious thoughts about the future and grieving the expectations you had for it. When your child has additional needs it can become an all-consuming task fighting the ongoing battles for their care, and you might have lost sight of yourself in the process. I can support you with a range of difficulties such as loss of identity, grief, resentment, relationship challenges with family, friends and professionals that don’t understand and provide a safe space for you and your needs to be the priority.

Perinatal Mental Health and Wellbeing
I have a special interest in working with parental mental health in the perinatal period. I have undertaken additional training through the NHS to work with parents and to support you during pregnancy, and post-natally.

- Anxiety -
Is anxiety making it hard for you to feel calm or enjoy life as you’d like? I’m here to help you find ways to ease that tension and reclaim your sense of peace. side by side we’ll explore what triggers your anxiety, understand your unique experience, and work together to build strategies that support you. Through our sessions, you’ll have the chance to rediscover calm and gain tools to manage anxious thoughts and feelings. 

- Burnout -
Are you feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or like you’re running on empty? Burnout can leave us feeling disconnected and drained, making it hard to keep up with daily life. I’m here to support you to find balance and reconnect with what truly matters to you. We’ll explore what’s causing your stress, identify ways to ease the pressure, and build strategies to support your well-being. Together, we’ll work towards restoring your energy and sense of purpose, at a pace that feels right for you.

- Low Self-Esteem -
Are you struggling with low self-esteem or feeling unsure of your own worth? I’m here to help you discover a more positive, empowering view of yourself. together we’ll explore what’s been holding you back and work towards building self-acceptance and confidence. We can identify the thoughts and patterns that may be weighing you down and gently shift towards a healthier, kinder self-image. You don’t have to face this journey alone, we'll take it step by step, at a pace that feels right for you.

- Pre and Postnatal mental health and wellbeing -

Are you finding the journey into parenthood more challenging than you expected? Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, mood changes, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I’m here to support you through this time with compassion and understanding. Pre and postnatal periods bring many emotional shifts, and it’s okay to seek support as you navigate them.  We can explore your feelings and find ways to nurture your mental well-being. Together, we’ll work to ease the pressures, helping you feel more balanced and connected to yourself and your child.

I’m here to offer compassionate support as you navigate this journey. Together, we can explore the emotional impact, practical strategies, and ways to strengthen family connections. In a space this is just for you, you can share your thoughts and feel truly heard. My aim is to help you feel more empowered and at ease in supporting your child’s unique needs, while also caring for yourself. 

 

 

- Relationship difficulties -
Are you finding it hard to navigate relationship challenges? I’m here to help you work through these issues with compassion and understanding. Relationships can be complex, and sometimes they bring up emotions and patterns that leave us feeling stuck, lost, or uncertain. Whether you're experiencing communication struggles, trust issues, or simply feeling disconnected, together we can explore ways to improve your relationship and foster a deeper connection.

Fees

I offer a free 15 minute call to make sure we're a good fit.
My fee is £70 per 50 minute weekly session.
