Since I started counselling, I've had the privilege of supporting many people in tackling life's challenges. I help you understand your emotional patterns, make sense of your thoughts and feelings, and help you to make choices that are the best for you. In our work together, I will bring an open mind, a genuine sense of empathy, and an appreciation for the rich tapestry of your life experiences.

 

Currently working online or by telephone only, I use effective therapeutic techniques to guide you to a fresh perspective on the issues you're facing. I help you to find positive changes and grow personally. I am passionate about counselling and have gained the knowledge and ability to address your unique needs with care and effectiveness.

 

The basis of my approach is person-centred therapy, which means you will experience a compassionate, non-judgmental, and safe environment whilst we work together on your goals. This approach means you can freely express yourself, feeling protected, heard, and validated. Additionally, I am an integrative counsellor, which means I integrate elements from various counselling approaches such as CBT, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Art therapy, Transpersonal/Spiritual, SFBT, and others, and tailor the therapy to your specific needs and requirements. 

 

I want therapy to be easy and accessible for everyone, so my sessions are online for those who prefer the flexibility of remote counselling.

I work mostly with narcissistic abuse, domestic abuse, trauma, grief & bereavement, anxiety & depression and stress / workplace stress, although I can  and have worked effectively with an array of other issues. The number of sessions required varies depending on individual circumstances, but my commitment is to work with you to achieve positive outcomes within a reasonable timeframe. Your well-being is my priority, and I am here to support you on your path to healing and personal growth.

Narcissistic Abuse: Working through the aftermath of narcissistic abuse can be a daunting journey. In our sessions, I offer a safe space for you to process your experiences, rebuild self-esteem, and develop coping strategies to help you reclaim control over your life and strengthen resilience.

 

Trauma: Healing from trauma is a delicate process that requires specialised support. In our counselling sessions, I provide a compassionate environment to explore and process traumatic experiences. Together, we work towards understanding the impact of trauma, strengthening resilience, and developing coping mechanisms to move towards a place of healing and recovery.

 

Domestic Abuse: If you're facing the challenges of domestic abuse, my counselling sessions offer a confidential and supportive environment. Together, we explore ways to break the cycle of abuse, prioritise your safety, and strengthen you to make informed decisions. I am committed to helping you regain a sense of power and rebuild your life free from harm.

 

Grief & Bereavement: Grieving is a unique and personal process. In our sessions focused on grief and bereavement, I provide compassionate support as you work through the complexities of loss. Together, we work towards healing, honouring memories, and finding ways to cope with the pain of bereavement, cultivating a path towards acceptance and eventual peace.

 

Anxiety and Depression: Addressing anxiety and depression is a significant aspect of my practice. Through personalised counselling, I hope to equip you with practical tools and coping mechanisms to manage and alleviate the impact of these conditions. Our work together focuses on restoring a sense of balance and well-being in your daily life.

 

Stress and Workplace Stress: Whether stemming from personal challenges, daily life pressures or workplace pressures (which can significantly impact both professional and personal aspects of your life), our sessions are designed to explore the sources of stress and develop effective coping strategies. Together, we work towards understanding the triggers, implementing stress-reduction techniques, and strengthening resilience.
