I am a fully qualified and accredited counsellor working both with individuals and couples.

We all have times when life can feel too much and our problems can just feel too big to deal with on our own. It can be difficult to talk about these things with those closest to us, maybe out of fear of upsetting others or feeling judged or misunderstood. Talking to a counsellor can help and just having the space to explore things can make all the difference.

A safe and confidential place

As a counsellor I aim to offer you a safe and confidential place, to talk, be heard and be able to explore the different thoughts, feelings and emotions that you are experiencing. This can lead to greater understanding, insight and acceptance of what is going on, enabling you to continue with life in a more manageable way.

This may involve looking at unresolved issues from the past and how this is affecting you now. Or it may be coping with the stresses of managing life on a day to day basis. You may not even know why you feel like you do, you just know you want to do something about it and this is the first step to recovery.
