I am a Cheshire based counsellor and psychotherapist. I have worked as a counsellor and therapist for many years and have extensive experience. I have an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and am looking towards DProf Psychotherapy qualifications, as my experience in all areas increases.

I have worked with client from across the UK, Europe and beyond through my extensive online and telephone work with employee assistance programmes, supporting client through depression and anxiety, to extreme high risk situations where life is in question.

I work with the person in front of me as an individual and often combine therapies depending on the client's needs. I use techniques from person-centred, CBT,  solution focussed therapy, behavioural therapy, IFS, Gestalt and Schema therapy and I continue to expand my working tools all the time.

It is important that the client feels safe and I work hard to ensure that is the case. My therapy room is within my home, and that creates a homely and relaxed atmosphere.

It can be hard to admit that you need extra support, I am aware of that, so that enforces even more for me the need to create a safe space where you know you can speak and feel as comfortable as possible within what is shared in our sessions.

I have a lot of experience with online and telephone counselling also, meaning you can stay home whilst we talk.
